MyChoice was proud to take part in the Guidewire Software Canadian Executive Forum at the Four Seasons Hotel Toronto, where our CEO and Co-Founder, Aren Mirzaian, represented MyChoice as one of three Canadian InsurTech Vanguards.
We are excited to share that MyChoice won the InsurPitch, with votes from Canadian insurance executives in attendance.
The forum brought together leaders from across the Canadian insurance industry to discuss the next era of Intelligent Insurance: a future shaped by modern core systems, data, analytics, generative AI, organizational agility, and the infrastructure required to move from experimentation to real business impact.
Throughout the day, the agenda reflected many of the same themes MyChoice has been focused on building toward.

Guidewire’s executive keynote explored how modern insurance platforms and AI are enabling faster development, smarter automation, more adaptive pricing, and stronger underwriting and claims outcomes. Other sessions focused on turning fragmented organizational knowledge into real-time guidance, using generative AI to create more human-centred injury and claims models, modernizing commercial lines with greater business and IT agility, and helping insurers move faster from pricing insight to business impact.
For us, the common thread was clear: the future of insurance will not be defined by AI alone. It will be defined by the infrastructure that allows AI, data, workflows, and human expertise to work together inside the real operating environment of insurance.
That is the plumbing MyChoice is building.
Our recent launch of Canada’s first insurance shopping app on ChatGPT showed one side of that future: conversational, AI-powered insurance discovery and engagement. Consumers will increasingly expect to shop, compare, ask questions, and begin insurance journeys through natural language interfaces. But a better front-end experience is only one part of the equation.
Behind every modern insurance experience, there still needs to be a trusted quote-to-bind foundation. There needs to be accurate data, explainable underwriting logic, clean submission workflows, reliable evidence collection, and systems that help carriers make better decisions in real time.
That was the focus of our InsurPitch.

MyChoice presented our vision for submission trust and evidence intelligence: technology that helps carriers validate broker-submitted risk earlier in the workflow, identify premium leakage, improve submission quality, and bind with greater confidence. Instead of relying on manual checks, PDF comparison, or downstream underwriting rework, we believe carriers should be able to bring real-time validation directly into the submission process.
For the consumer, this infrastructure helps create faster, cleaner, and more intuitive insurance experiences.
For brokers, it reduces friction and helps them submit better business.
For carriers, it improves trust, control, and underwriting consistency before a policy is bound.
This is where we believe the industry is heading. AI will change how consumers discover and engage with insurance, but the companies that win will be the ones that can connect those new experiences to deep backend infrastructure: rating, quoting, binding, evidence validation, underwriting rules, carrier workflows, and policy issuance.
Winning the InsurPitch in a room of Canadian insurance executives was meaningful validation that this problem matters and that the market is ready for practical infrastructure that can support the next generation of insurance.

A huge thank you to Laura Drabik and the Guidewire team for creating such a thoughtful forum for insurers, technology leaders, and innovators. Laura has long been one of the industry’s clearest voices on the future of P&C insurance, insurtech, ecosystems, AI, and carrier transformation. For anyone following where the industry is heading, Drabik Digest is well worth checking out.
Congratulations as well to Tempo and EcoClaim, who joined us on stage as Canadian InsurTech Vanguards.
We are grateful for the conversations already underway and excited to continue building the infrastructure behind faster, smarter, and more trusted insurance experiences.
