In the spirit of transparency, we have designed a simple calculator below that is created using publicly available rate approval data from the Financial Services Regulatory Authority in Ontario.
Click on an insurer below to find out the total percentage of rate increases or decreases they’ve had in your specified time period. We also went a step further to list which insurers have had less increases in the same time period. Enjoy!

*It is important to note that just because an insurers rate has increased or decreased, it may not reflect your individual actual rate change during this period. Insurance rates are recalculated periodically and can increase and decrease as risk factors of drivers change.
